
Jeffrey Luscombe
Called “one of LGBT fiction’s brightest new stars” by HuffPost, critically acclaimed author Jeffrey Luscombe was born and raised in Hamilton, Canada. He is the author of Shirts and Skins and To Refrain From Embracing. Luscombe has twice been shortlisted for the Prism International Fiction Prize and was a finalist for the Kerry Schooley Award from the Hamilton Arts Council for Shirts and Skins.His work — including articles, interviews, essays, and reviews — has appeared in Canadian and American publications such as The Globe and Mail.
He holds a BA and MA in English from the University of Toronto and studied at the prestigious Humber School for Writers, where he was mentored by Nino Ricci and Lauren B. Davis. He currently lives in Toronto.
A new edition of Shirts and Skins (featuring a new chapter) was released by Lethe Press in June 2022, and his latest novel, To Refrain From Embracing, was published by Lethe Press in 2023.
