Who we are
Fierté Littéraire is a non-profit association devoted to promoting and celebrating 2LGBTQIA+ literature.
While we concentrate mainly on Quebec authors, our mission embraces Francophone literature as a whole.
Our Mission
Our goal is to provide a platform where 2LGBTQIA+ voices can express themselves freely, share their stories, and enrich the Francophone cultural landscape.
Literature holds a vital place in the 2LGBTQIA+ community, serving as a space for representation, self-discovery, and solidarity.
Our Events
We regularly organize a variety of events aimed at celebrating and encouraging literary creation within the 2LGBTQIA+ community.
Among these events are public readings, writing contests, literary exhibitions, and many more.
Every year, we actively take part in Fierté Montréal by offering activities that highlight the talents of our community.
Literature as a Means of Expression and Liberation
Literature is a powerful tool for the 2LGBTQIA+ community. It not only documents experiences and struggles, but also celebrates triumphs and diversity.
By telling their own stories, members of the 2LGBTQIA+ community can find a way to liberate themselves, to understand themselves, and to connect with others.
We believe that every story has the power to change lives, open minds, and build bridges between different parts of our society.
Collaborations and Support
Fierté Littéraire is proud to collaborate with Éditions TNT, our main sponsor.
Thanks to their support, we are able to publish collections of texts by participants in our contests, thereby offering greater visibility to 2LGBTQIA+ authors.
